Renting From Broad Oak

You will need to book a viewing on the property that you've seen and if it's what you’re after we’ll give you an application form to complete. Return this to us with two forms of ID-  a passport or driving licence and a utility bill will be great. After the landlord has agreed to go ahead we will start to process the application.

What Kind Of Checks Are Made?

The referencing company will run a credit check, obtain a reference from your current landlord and confirm your income / employment details. 

WE MAKE NO CHARGES FOR REFERENCING OR ADMINISTRATION.

Would you consider an applicant on Housing Benefit?

It will depend on the landlord's wishes and your circumstances so it's always best to check when you book a viewing.

What If I Have A Pet?

Most of the properties that we look after would be happy to accept a small caged animal for example a rabbit, gerbil.

For larger animals eg cat, dog they are at the landlords discretion so always best to check with us. The landlord would usually ask for a pet deposit.

What Happens at Move In?

When the referencing is completed we set a date for move in, we ask you to pay one month’s rent and the deposit the day before.  You will sign the tenancy agreement, received a copy of your deposit certificate along with other useful information and we will then hand over the keys.
